Hiya! This page is dedicated to the ship between Gary Prince and Marshall Lee from the 2023 animated series, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake. It is a sequel to the animated series, Adventure Time, which is sure to be familiar to anyone who grew up in the 2010s. Fionna and Cake, among other things, serves to be an expansion of Adventure Time's official genderbends. (Although it is intended to be a subversion of genderbent alternate universes, due to each 'genderbend' very much being their own character. But that's an essay for another day.)

Gary Prince and Marshall Lee are this universe's counterparts to Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, and are canonical boyfriends; meeting for the first time and getting together over the course of the series. They have become extremely important to me over a shockingly short amount of time (this page was actually made on the one-month anniversary of their very first interaction in 'The Winter King', and a comparative while away from the one-month anniversary of the finale of the series as a whole), and I hope I can show you why!

Note: Another version of this page, for their magical universe counterparts (Marshall Lee the Vampire King and Prince Gumball), will be created at a later date, once this version of the shrine is completed. From this point forward, the universe in which 2023's Fionna and Cake takes place will be called the 'humanverse', while the magical version of it (as shown in the original Adventure Time) will be called the 'magicverse'. Furthermore, while 'Gumlee' is an umbrella ship name for both universe's version of this pair, from this point forward, I will be using 'Garylee' to refer to the humanverse's version of the ship, and 'Gumlee' to exclusively refer to the magicverse.
